This Privacy Policy explains how Micheale Downs, CPA, CCIFP ("we," "us"), a sole proprietor located in Dawsonville, Georgia, handles information accessed through our software application (the "Application") that connects to Intuit QuickBooks Online. Contact: mike@mikedowns.com.
When you authorize the Application, we access accounting data in your QuickBooks Online company on a read-only basis - for example, general ledger, trial balance, financial statements, invoices, bills, payments, customers, vendors, and related records - solely as needed to provide financial advisory and consulting services to you.
We use the data only to perform the financial advisory and consulting services you have engaged us to provide. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own purposes, and we do not use it for advertising.
We may disclose data only (a) to you and those you authorize, (b) to service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, or (c) as required by law or professional obligation.
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the data, including encrypted storage of any locally retained extracts. Access is limited to the Provider.
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the services and to meet professional, legal, and recordkeeping obligations, after which it is deleted or securely archived.
You may disconnect the Application from your QuickBooks Online account at any time, which ends further data access.
We may update this Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
